βš™οΈ Creator Business Accelerator Details [5 SPOTS AVAILABLE]

Just wanted to give you a quick update on the Creative Coaching Accelerator I mentioned a while back (you're receiving this email because you originally said you were interested in this program).

For the last 6 months or so, I've actually been doing bi-weekly coaching with a few people who want to build their creator businesses. This has allowed me to work one-on-one with a small beta group as I figured out where the obstacles were for them, and more importantly, how I might be able to help them overcome those obstacles.

I've condensed everything down into 10 steps that can help anyone go from wanna-be creator to creative solopreneur:

  1. Figure Out Your Ideal Customer - You need to know who you're trying to help and what problem you're attempting to solve. I'll help you figure this out.
  2. Figure Out Your Message - How are YOU able to help your ideal customer overcome their problem and achieve the outcome they desire? I'll help you dial in your messaging so it's clear.
  3. Pick a Platform - Choose one place where you want to show up consistently and talk about your topic. I'll help you create systems to show up here consistently without a ton of effort.
  4. Build Your List - As you join the online conversation, I'll help you design a compelling lead magnet to help you turn borrowed attention into an owned asset (your email list).
  5. Build Trust - I'll help you build creative systems so you can continue to deliver value to those on your list and build trust before you have something to sell.
  6. Create a Waitlist - Your product won't be for everyone, so get your ideal customers to opt-in to a waitlist for the thing you are building (this is WAY better than spamming a large list BTW).
  7. Create an Offer - Have something compelling and specific for the small group on your waitlist. I'll help you craft your offer and identify the benefits for your potential customers.
  8. Create a Launch Plan - Figure out what your launch sequence looks like and continue to talk about your product BEFORE it's available. (This is actually more important than what you offer.)
  9. Create a Digital Product - Make something scalable that meets the needs of your ideal customer in the way they want. I'll help you with designing and creating a digital product that solves a real need for your ideal customer.
  10. Make Your First Sale - Launch your digital product to your hot list and (if your offer is good) the sales will come. I'll help you connect the pipes and automate your selling systems.

In the Creator Business Accelerator, I will walk you through all of this step-by-step. I'll share everything I did (and learned) when I launched LifeHQ, my done-for-you Obsidian vault, which did over $65k in revenue in the first 3 months.

The best part? You don't need a huge list. Most of those sales came from my 500-person hotlist that I built in the two months leading up to the launch.

So that's exactly what I'd like to teach you πŸ™‚ I'd like to kick off the program on October 13th (that way we wrap up the week before the holidays start). The calls will all likely be held at 12pm CT (1pm ET, 10am PT).

For the first version of this accelerator, I'd like to limit the group size to 5 people. That way, I can really make sure that I've got this down and all of the templates and resources I share are as useful as I think they are πŸ˜‰

The program will be 10 weeks long, and we'll have a couple of different types of live calls:

  • Training Workshops - I'll share teaching, frameworks, and templates that you'll need in order to take action.
  • Coworking Calls - Time set aside for you to implement the action steps from the training sessions.
  • Q&A Sessions - Dedicated time for me to answer any questions you may have about any of the material or resources.

There will also be a private group in Circle where you can post questions, get feedback, and view any of the recordings if you can't attend live.

The cost of this program for this first group will be $1000. The plan for the second group is to double the size of the group and also the price.

If you'd like to be one of these 5 people to work directly with me on kickstarting your creator business (whether you want to go indie or just start a side-hustle), you can join here. I don't have everything quite set up yet, but this will save your spot, and I'll email you all the details next week before we begin.

Let's do this! πŸš€

Dataview has been a popular Obsidian plugin for a very long time, with over 3 million downloads since its initial release back in January of 2021. But it's always been slow and a little tricky to use. It's also in the process of being replaced by its work-in-progress successor (Datacore), which brings additional features but a whole new syntax. Bottom line? Now is a great time to migrate from Dataview to Obsidian...

πŸ“£ The Practical PKM Newsletter is changing a little bit. TL;DR - I'm going to try splitting up the content into multiple emails. You will still get the same content, just not all at once. I plan to share the Big Idea on Mondays, Something Cool on Wednesdays, and Book Notes on Fridays. As a result, today's email won't have the typical 3 sections. I plan to send a Big Idea email every week, but will likely be a little more selective about when I send the others. That way I can be a little more...
